There are no bounds to Lucy’s skills as an instructional designer. She is a hard worker and team player. I had the privilege of watching Lucy’s flagship project come to life! Her storytelling skills immerse the learner in the scenario and motivate you, as the learner, to make the right choices. I am so impressed by Lucy’s ability to write strong consequences (positive or negative), while still being realistic. Not only does the story draw you in, but Lucy keeps her learners engaged with solid visual design skills and Vyond animations. When looking at Lucy’s work it is evident that she considers every detail to create the best possible experience for her learners!

I worked with Lucy directly as she pivoted into Instructional Design. She was already doing the work of an ID, but I helped her and watched as she honed her skills to move into the industry. She is a quick learner and is very coachable, as evidenced by the great improvement in her work that she produced over the months that I worked with her. I have seen her demonstrate great responsiveness, reliability, and follow through.

I observed Lucy tackle an intense and triggering subject and design a training that balanced relatability with impact. Lucy combined effective storytelling with her aptitude for visual communication to engage her audience and create a training that achieves a high level of knowledge transfer and retention. As I’ve reviewed Lucy’s other works, I have noted that she consistently provides unique and appropriate practice opportunities that perfectly match the needs of her well-crafted learning objectives. I have no doubt that Lucy will continue to excel in her career and make a lasting impact in the field of instructional design.
